1998 Honda Accord EX - Acceleration problems.
Before and after my "new" engine install I'm still having acceleration problems. This group suspected it might be the TPS, if the engine was replaced this is too?
When I go to accelerate the RPMS rise, but it's like in stuck mode and then kicks in, and not the same as a bad transmission. It feels like it's getting the power, but the wheels aren't moving?

Am I understanding this correct: Engine rev's without any issues (mis-fire, hesitation or anything else motor related), just the car doesn't move when in gear?
Then I'll assume it is an auto. Does it only do this taking off from a standing start, or does this happen when it changes gears (1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, ect).
What is the fluid level and when was it last changed?

I've done a good job lately taking care of the fluids.
Thanks,

Does the check engine light turn on? If so, stop by a parts store and get the codes scanned and post on here. If you don't have a TPS code, then I wouldn't replace based on a suggestion.
I am not so familiar with the 98 setup. If the throttle plate is driven by a cable, you can adjust the tension on it. On older accords, there was a cable that went from the throttle body to the transmission that you can adjust as well.
