Default 87 accord lxi starter

i just bought my first honda, an 87 accord lxi 2.0, and the starter went out today, i was able to remove one of the bolts, but cant for the life of me find the other one, prolly didnt help i was in a parking lot in the dark using a flashlight, lol, i found a diagram showing where it is, but it didnt really say how to get it out, i.e. (re)move hoses, wires, etc. just said to remove both bolts. there looked to be several hoses directly above the solenoid, dont know if i have to take those off or what. ahh, the joys of owning a front wheel drive foreign car, lol. any help would be greatly appreciated

it's not too hard all. you'll have to get it from under the car though. Reach up from near the transmission and you should be able to see it. The wires come off easy too. One should just slide off since it uses a blade connector and the other is held on with a 10 or 8mm nut.

I had to change mine out once at my girlfriend's driveway at night, and knowing where everything was certainly helped. Don't kick yourself though, since it is tricky to find the bolt the first time. You may even need to move the splash shield out. And I think I remember the main radiator hose being attached to a bracket supported by the starter. Just be careful with the hose and it shouldn't give you any problems.
